All our large orders will arrive individually cut and vacuum packed for easier storage, while small orders are packaged within trays and have a minimum shelf life of seven days. Of course, all of our meat is cut and prepared to your order on the day of delivery.
Delivery Rates & Times
All orders over £50 through our online store will qualify automatically for free delivery to any mainland UK address. A £9.95 delivery charge will be added to the total cost of your package for any orders under £50 going to a mainland UK address. For those living outside mainland UK, please contact us to arrange a cost for delivery.
We operate a next day delivery service for any orders placed before 2pm on weekdays. Please note that we do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. Our external couriers do offer an email and text service for customer orders which is purely for delivery confirmation. All deliveries are made before 12 noon on your delivery day.
Let us know on the order confirmation page if you have any special requirements in relation to your delivery. If you are not able to come to the door for any reason, or will be elsewhere when your package is to be delivered, please specify instructions on where your nearest safe place can be located, or if a neighbour will be able to collect it on your behalf.
With our many years of experience, A. Wright & Son hand select from a mixture of the very best local farms and cattle markets, purchasing only prime stock to ensure the highest quality of meat for our consumers. Animal welfare is, of course, at the forefront of our ethics when selecting stock and we always certify each animal has been treated in accordance with UK & EU legislative agreement through Farm Assurance schemes, as well as to our own standards. And as consumer satisfaction and concern is a large part of our business, we can guarantee full traceability for each of the products we sell. Our fantastic in-house IT system enables us to track the historical data of each individual animal, giving us accurate information from the date and farm on which the animal was born, through to its arrival at our factory and the eventual despatch of meat. It’s through these ethical and accurate procedures that A. Wright & Son continuously adhere to and that our consumers can always trust.

Is there a minimum spend for your online shop?
There is no minimum spend. However, all orders over £50 will qualify for free delivery. Any orders under £50 will be subject to a £9.95 delivery charge.

What is Quality Lincolnshire Meat?
Our Quality Lincolnshire meat comes from animals that have been born, bred and processed in Lincolnshire. This allows us to source the very best quality stock from around the county, which drastically reduces food miles and improves animal welfare with shorter journeys, alongside supporting our local rural economy.
What’s the minimum and maximum amount of time you dry age your beef?
We generally dry age our beef for a minimum of 21 days and up to a maximum of 35 days. If you do have a preference for the length of time you would like us to hang your meat for, please send us an email or call us and we can arrange for a special time period to suit you.
